Ortsspezifische Installation für den Offspace Kaisitz
Session #4, sechs küntlerische Interventionen fürs #ECK
Aus dem einwöchigen Residenzaufenthalt im Offspace Kaisitz,
im ländlichen Sachsen, entstand eine ortsspezifische Installation. Die sechs
Bleiverglasungen entsprechen mit den sechs Bildern und Texten den jeweiligen
Tagen des Aufenthalts und dürfen als Tagebucheinträge gelesen werden. Sie
erzählen, ergänzt mit einer Publikation, von meinen Erfahrungen im Dorf mit
seiner Landschaft und seinen Bewohner*innen.
Zur Eröffnung fand ein Artist Talk statt, während dem ich den Besuchenden meine Geschichten zu ihrem Dorf und die Entstehung der Arbeit näherbringen konnte.

Site-specific installation for the Offspace Kaisitz
Session #4, six artistic interventions for #ECK
The one-week residency at Offspace Kaisitz, in rural Saxony, resulted in a site-specific installation. The six stained glass panels with their six images and texts correspond to the particular days of the residency and can be read as diary entries. Supplemented by a publication, they tell of my experiences in the village with its landscape and its inhabitants and of the feelings of belonging and loss that I experienced during my stay on the countryside.
An artist talk took place at the opening, during which I was able to tell visitors my stories about their village and the creation of the work.
