Angelehnt an die Tradition der “Schützenabzeichen”, also
kleine Bleiverglasungen, die in ländlichen Schützenvereinen besondere Anlässe
und Mitglieder ehren, erstellte ich ein Abzeichen, das die Solidarität der
feministischen Bewegung feiert.
DUM SPIRO SPERO ET PUGNO = latein für “solange ich atme, hoffe und kämpfe ich”.
In Anbetracht der lokalen und globalen Geschehnissen ist ein Zeichen für Hoffnung und Aktion nötig. Eine bessere Zukunft ist nur durch das Zusammenhalten vieler möglich.
Der 14.Juni ist der nationale feministische Streiktag der Schweiz.

Based on the tradition of “shooter`s badges”, that means small
pieces of stained glass that honor special occasions and members
of rural shooting clubs (“Schützenvereine”), I created a badge that
celebrates the solidarity of the feminist movement.

In the face of local and global events, a sign of hope and action is needed. I believe that a better future is only possible if we all work together and build strong bonds.
